Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Fabrication is seeking a Production Coordinator Team Lead (Level C) to join the Emergent Operations Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st Shift.

The Team Lead will be responsible for pre-shift planning, crew meetings, team status updates, labor loss, production control, training, process improvement and Lean/BPS. The selected candidate must exhibit Boeing Behaviors and maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job.

Position Responsibilities:

• Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc.

• Monitors and analyzes work in process

• Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems

• Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to insure parts availability

• Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy

• Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays

• Leads, coaches, supports, and trains the team

• Exhibits Boeing Behaviors and possesses a safety and quality mindset

• Works under limited supervision

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain procurement and/or warehouse inventory management

• 3+ years of working knowledge of inventory systems such as KITS, Velocity, Order Manager and ERPLN

• 3+ years of experience problem solving

• 3+ years of experience with MS PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word

• Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

• Experience using lean manufacturing principles

• Experience leading a team, formally or informally

Summary pay range: $49,500 - $60,500
