About the role

AWS Cloud Network Engineer, Senior

The Opportunity:

A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable our military to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network with the right equipment and software requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That’s why we need you, an experienced network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network for the Army's needs.

As an AWS Cloud Network Engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience in network design and architecture to support the nation’s defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You’ll work with our Cloud team to secure the infrastructure and enable our customers to integrate their applications into the Cloud architecture to increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems.

You’ll apply your expertise in Cloud networking, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), firewalls, routing and switching, and encryption as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the Army evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies.

Your knowledge of Cloud service providers, networking, and application implementation will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you’ll make an impact on national security missions.

Further your career with us as we help the Army build systems to support our warfighters.
