PDI Product Manager

The PDI Product Manager is responsible for the technical components of the system’s capabilities and functions at Circle K. This role partners with functional stakeholders representing Price Book, Merchandising, Category Management, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Operations to define a prioritized roadmap, and concurrently works with technical resources within and outside the company to plan and deliver new capabilities.
The role resides in the North America Enterprise Systems team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job duties, responsibilities, and requirements:
Manages the goals and vision for the product and serves as the bridge between stakeholders and technical resources. They ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and technical capabilities.
Develops and maintains a product roadmap that outlines key milestones, features, and release timelines.
Working closely with engineers, designers, developers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders ensures effective communication and coordination throughout the product development lifecycle.
Deep Understanding of Data required for the implementation of new functions.
Translates technical requirements into product features. They articulate precise specifications and features, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
Communicates the product vision and strategy to internal teams, stakeholders, and customers.
Works with stakeholders to get funding approval and to manage the budget associated with continued development of the system.
Manages the technical delivery of improvements and works with operations to implement the capabilities effectively.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business).
Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, preferably in a technical or software-related domain.
Understanding of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to translate technical concepts into clear directives for development teams.
