POSITION SUMMARY

 

In a typical 24-hour production cycle, we conduct 30,000 documented quality checks involving ingredient/packaging, receiving, processing, and packing. That’s how much we care. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining quality standards during the development of cat and dog food product. Work in various areas and functions of the plant to ensure operators are performing the appropriate sanitation activities and quality checks per company policy and procedures.   • Ensure quality standards are achieved by maintaining documentation, effective communication, and adherence to Quality SOPs.
  • Drive First Time Quality (FTQ) and other quality initiatives within facility.
  • Perform Quality Management System checks on production floor.
  • Interpret data and evaluate trends.
  • Provide quality training to other associates as needed.
  • Support Nestlé Continuous Excellence and Total Performance Management processes.

 

**Must be open to work a backshift.**


Requirements

  • High School or GED diploma preferred.
  • 1+ years of quality assurance in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military or related environment.

 

Other

  • Experience in a laboratory environment, familiarity with lab safety protocols and procedures is preferred.

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $43,000 - $56,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
