Assistant Project Manager 

About the Role:

We are seeking two motivated Assistant Project Managers to join our team in Houston, TX. These positions offer excellent growth potential within our company, particularly for those with a background in heavy civil construction or TxDOT projects. We are open to considering individuals with varying levels of experience, including:

• Experienced Professionals: Construction professionals with some background (heavy civil preferred) and TxDOT experience. We also welcome applications from PEs looking to transition into project management.

• Recent Graduates: We are willing to train recent graduates with a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree, starting them as Project Coordinators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Managers in overseeing project execution, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.

• Collaborate with field staff, subcontractors, and clients to coordinate project activities and address any issues.

• Utilize project management software like Bluebeam, InEight, and Primavera P6 to track progress, manage documentation, and generate reports.

• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project status.

Qualifications:

• Some construction background (heavy civil preferred) and TxDOT experience is a plus.

• PEs looking to transition into an APM role are encouraged to apply.

• Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred.

• Proficiency in Bluebeam, InEight, and Primavera P6 software.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure.
