Tierra Right of Way Services is hiring a full-time Right of Way Project Coordinator. This is an administrative position that assists with scheduling and planning meetings and project activities. Coordinators ensure projects run smoothly by controlling workflow, scheduling assignments, evaluating the course of the project and reporting progress to management with the end goal of seeing projects through on time and within budget.
Other administrative duties include, but are not limited to, efficient and accurate communication, requests for appraisal fee quotes, appraisal reports, and computer applications including the development of a variety of spreadsheets and the required data entry for project monitoring and task tracking to ensure projects progress consistently, are completed as scheduled and are in compliance with all State and Federal statutes and regulations.
This is an on-site role located in central Phoenix.
Essential Functions and Requirements:
- Creates a project schedule with milestones, due dates, and estimates for materials and other resources required and submits to management for approval.
- Assists with the documentation of each phase of the project and writes summary reports, which will be presented to the management team.
- Works with team members in the field or on site when project issues arise.
- Ensures the team has the tools needed to effectively and efficiently execute the project.
- Builds relationships with the team and develops a strong working unit in order to support the success of a project.
- Maintains and monitors project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
- Acts as the main point of contact for the project and communicates project status to all participants.
- Prepares necessary presentation materials for meetings; distributes meeting notes; takes meeting notes and follows-up on important action items from meetings.
- Creates a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
- Ensures all documentation is appropriately maintained for each project.
- Assesses project risks and provides solutions where applicable.
- Provides general clerical and administrative support, including coordinating transportation and travel for team members.
- May manage and administer the division’s contracts.
- Performs other related responsibilities as needed.
