Senior Maintenance Planner

About you and this role:

Creates job packages from the work order scope which contains all of the information regarding required labor material and services to ensure safe, effective and efficient execution of the work. Requires full proficiency in a range of technical, operational, or analytical/scientific processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on the job experience to perform a variety of work assignments. Acts as an informal resource for team members with less experience.

Responsibilities:

• Enables the people who manage and/or perform work in the field with the tools and information needed to perform their job effectively and efficiently.
• Requires full proficiency in a range of technical, operational, or analytical/scientific processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on the job experience to perform a variety of work assignments.
• Acts as an informal resource for team members with less experience.

Qualifications:

• Short-Cycle Tertiary Degree (i.e. Associate's Degree) plus maintenance, manufacturing or other related experience. In lieu of degree, 5 or more equivalent years of experience in Maintenance or Construction within an industrial environment.

• Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed.
• A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.  No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred Qualification:

• Proficiency with SAP (Scheduling and Planning experience)

• Dow does not offer relocation if the position is offered to someone who lives outside the area or reimbursement for travel to and from interviews. If you consider a position that is not within the area you reside, you will be responsible for all costs incurred.
