Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient PRN

Schedule: PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri)

SELECT PHYSICAL THERAPY in Tampa, FL is seeking local PRN Physical Therapist Assistants *or licensed physical therapist) to join our multidisciplinary outpatient orthopedic team. This role is perfect for someone with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. We are unable to consider new graduate physical therapist assistants.

 

 

This is a per diem/ PRN opportunity for as needed coverage during our hours of operation.Our team averages 10-12 patients per day. We treat a diverse population of general ortho, neuro, vestibular, and sports medicine with an ACL and fall prevention program. We are open as early as 7A until 7P (Friday 5P). We’ll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
