Director of Automotive Products

Untether AI is building the world’s highest performance pure-digital AI inference startup. We’re a rapidly growing Toronto-based startup, with employees across Canada and the US (and even a few outside North America), building next generation hardware AI accelerators for neural net inference. We are investing in software in a big way in order to make it as seamless as possible for researchers and developers to successfully deploy neural networks on our hardware.  

To help grow our organization we are looking for an experienced Director of Automotive Products who will:

• Own the automotive product life cycle, including market requirement gathering, staying on top of technology trends, and assessing internal engineering capabilities to define new products and bring them to market.
• Understand the needs and challenges of our automotive customers.
• Analyze new product ideas and features and push these concepts through internally.
• Partner with Engineering on product development.
• Support Sales and Business Development and attend customer meetings when needed.

This might be the right opportunity for you if you have:

• Experience in product management, field applications engineering, or technical marketing in the semiconductor industry with automotive offerings.
• 5-10 years in marketing automotive semiconductor products, with an understanding of AEQ and functional safety requirements.
• Experience with deployment of AI/neural networks for autonomous vehicle applications.
• Engaged with automotive OEMs and tier-1 suppliers to the automotive industry.
• A results-driven, customer-centric mindset.
• Ability to present technical and business concepts to a range of audiences and translate complex topics into actionable items.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
