About the role

UC Health is hiring a full time registered Nurse (RN) for BMT inpatient department for the night shift. Be a part of a growing Bone Marrow Transplant Oncology program, by making an indelible impact cancer patient’s lives through caring for them with the most advanced treatment.

The Oncology Nurse will support the Cincinnati regions’ only adult FACT-accredited academic blood and marrow transplant program, delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care and according to policy and procedures.

The Blood Cancer Healing Center is designed to be an unparalleled hub of expertise and support that will redefine care for blood cancer patients and their families. The center includes dedicated spaces for whole-person patient care, novel treatments, and basic/translational research—all in one building, all dedicated to the future of cancer care.

Education and Experience Requirements:

· Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

· Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)

· Current OH RN License

· Chemotherapy/biotherapy certification (preferred)

· One year Oncology Infusion experience (preferred)

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of Nursing. ONS Chemo/Bio Certificate | Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio. Current BLS/ACLS/PALS per department requirements based on patient population needs.
