The BACB is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate meets the required education and experience but also enjoys:

The ideal candidate is Azure certified, but it is not a requirement. The BACB offers professional development and would support the successful candidate in obtaining Azure certification.
Position Summary: The Senior Network Engineer is part of the Information Technology team with a primary focus on managing our Microsoft Azure environment to meet the needs of the business and to enhance the current cloud deployment. This position requires an advanced understanding of the Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 systems and is responsible for maintaining existing client environments that are hosted in Azure, implement new systems and automations within the environment, and should have the knowledge to make recommendations to stay in line with best practices for Azure and Cyber Security.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $119,000 with a $3,000 sign-on bonus after successful completion of 90 days of employment.

Requirements
- Administer Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID, maintaining secure and efficient access management.
- Architect, administrator, and troubleshoot Azure networks and hosted systems.
- Uphold and enhance systems and network security standards.
- Implement systems automation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide training to other team members on Azure technologies and best practices.
- Create documentation for basic troubleshooting of Azure environments.
- Design and implement disaster recovery solutions and regularly test them to ensure business continuity.
- Oversee the daily backup of the Azure environment and regularly test backup solutions to ensure quick recovery when needed.
- Monitor and analyze cloud resource utilization. Plan and execute capacity upgrades as required.
- Lead the management and maintenance of assigned Azure environments.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies. Propose and implement enhancements that will improve the performance, reliability, and security of the cloud environment.
- Build and maintain infrastructure, application, and data flow diagrams for the Azure environment.
- Consistently perform upgrades, updates, and maintenance for our Azure environment to guarantee optimal performance.
- Ensure all cloud solutions adhere to enterprise-wide security and compliance controls. Regularly audit and review to enforce these policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
