Fleet Assistant

Lakemary is looking for a full-time Fleet Assistant for our Transportation Department.  In this role you will provide driving services to the local community and complete administrative duties. This role functions under general supervision of a Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for community transports which includes scheduling and timely pick-ups.
• Conduct Pre-Post Trip Audits
• Clean Vehicles as assigned by the Transportation Coordinator
• Provide backup driving services to the Day and Adult Program.

An ideal candidate for this position has:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel)
• Communicate clearly and concisely with the community
• Be flexible and adjust to changes that may occur during the day
• Basic knowledge of FMCSA vehicles

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Be at least 25+ years of age
• Must maintain a good driving record
• Must obtain FMCSA medical certification and successfully complete a KDOT drug screening.
• Previous driver’s experience preferred

Other Job Details:

• Monday- Friday 7:30am-4pm 
• Starting pay: $ 15.00/hour
