Commercial Security Technician

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Security Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic security systems at commercial client sites. Unlike installation roles, this position focuses exclusively on ensuring existing systems function at peak performance through regular servicing and diagnostics.
This role is at client sites in the local DC Metro/VA/MD area. Company van and gas card is provided

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and emergency service work on commercial electronic security systems including:Intrusion alarms, Access control systems, CCTV and IP video surveillance
• Diagnose system issues and execute repairs or part replacements as needed
• Provide technical support and system performance reviews during service calls
• Complete service tickets, documentation, and reports accurately and timely
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturers’ products, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices
