Bike Shop Director, Divvy Bike Share

Due to our growth, we are excited to add a Bike Shop Director to our Chicago team. This individual will provide strategic direction and over site of all aspects of the bike shop's operations, both short and long term. This individual will be asked to oversee the program's bike maintenance, repairs, and assembly process to ensure they meet or exceed program and safety standards. This individual will manage inventory levels and report on bike shop performance metrics. Additionally, this individual will lead and develop a team of operations managers and their respective teams.

Requirements

• 3-4 years leading bike shop operations for a large multifunctional operation Previous bike share experience preferred.
• 3-4 years developing safety and quality standards that exceed company, local, state, and federal guidelines. 
• 3-4 years of experience leading a field-based team with an emphasis on safety and operational improvement
• 3- 4 years experience developing and monitoring service level agreements (SLAs).
• Experience partnering and negotiating with external vendors
• Possess a valid and active driver's license.
• The ability to lift 75 lbs.
• The ability to bend, stoop, and stand for long periods.

Due to the nature of the work performed by the company, team members may be assigned to perform duties outside their core responsibilities.
