Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
As a Project Specialist in our Solution Sales organisation, you will play a critical role in supporting our Service Operations business development efforts and driving growth initiatives. You will work closely with the Service Operations Business Development Managers and other cross-functional teams to contribute to the success of our Service Operations business unit by providing actionable and measurable insight and recommendations.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to tackle challenging problems, gain valuable insights into both strategic and operational matters that are top-of-mind for leadership, and be exposed to senior-level decision-making processes. Additionally, you will have the chance to build relationships across the entire organization.
The ideal candidate should be able to evidence experience in various aspects of strategy and operations, for example project support, business analysis, market research and analysis, problem-solving, cross-functional team coordination, presentation skills and executive communication. Success in this role requires the ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, and an aptitude for navigating ambiguous situations.
Responsibilities / Job Description
- Work on key strategic sales and market development initiatives for ServiceNow; work cross-functionally to structure problems, and drive solutions and actionable recommendations and results through a rigorous, data-driven process.
- Drive operational rhythm of the Service Operations Business Development Team, helping the identification, measurement, and monitoring of critical strategic and operational initiatives.
- Support the Service Operations Business Development leadership in supplying regular updates on strategic initiatives to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to gather compelling case studies, use cases, and success stories highlighting the impact of Service Operations/
- Analyze target accounts and pipeline to provide valuable insights and assist in developing effective GTM (Go to Market) strategies.
- Develop materials and enablement resources to empower internal teams and partners to effectively promote Service Operations.
- Coordinate and execute workshops, webinars, and content creation initiatives to educate prospects and customers about Service Operations.
- Track adoption metrics and customer usage data to identify trends and areas for improvement and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement actions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product Management, and Customer Success teams to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- 2+ years' commercial experience in market research, insight, business analysis, sales operations, project support, business development, or related roles
- Experience working on cross functional projects from framing the problem, conducting research/analysis, building business and operational plans, and driving execution through to success
- Strong analytical skills to formulate highly impactful, data-driven strategies
- Passionate and creative with a talent for forming and crafting ideas, strategies, and tasks and seeing them through to execution
- Strong communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing
- Effective at building relationships, collaborating, and influencing others; experience working across various geographies and functions
- Dedicated team player who is also an independent thinker
- Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative high-growth environment
