We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Description Summary:

The fintech ecosystem is changing at an unprecedented rate. We are looking for a Manager to join the Corporate Strategy team to drive strategy development, execution, and thought leadership in high-priority areas of the business.

Job Description:

Strategy development: Lead/support the development of PayPal’s strategy on high-visibility initiatives, and long-term strategic priorities in key ecosystem areas
Strategic execution: Drive related strategic projects into the execution phase, partnering with teams across the organization
Thought leadership: Advise our C-suite through “research” type engagements to develop and articulate a point of view on market signals and potential ecosystem game-changers

Required Skills:
3-4 years post-MBA preferred, or 5-8 years of highly relevant experience without an MBA

World class strategic and analytical thinking including excellent ability
to flex between big-picture thinking, understanding and distill complex
ideas and analyze data to drive strategic objectives and priorities
Superior communication (verbal, written, PowerPoint) and analysis
skills (Excel)
Leadership experience in complex global organizations and cross
functional teams, and a track record of delivering tangible results, both
directly and by the influence
Appetite to learn and comfortable with ambiguity
Top strategy consulting (e.g. BCG, McKinsey, or Bain) or top corporate
strategy experience is a must
Industry expertise in payments and/or technology is preferred
Fast-track career development
