Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP – Out Patient/IMP Pediatric Behavioral Health Program - Ambulatory Care Network/Columbia Campus

As an essential part of our Ambulatory Care Network (ACN), the Pediatric Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner will be working with an interdisciplinary team in the outpatient setting providing psychiatric evaluations, crisis triage, stabilization, and linkage to ongoing outpatient treatment. Medication management and short-term treatment will be provided for children, adolescents and their families.
Collaboration with other Mental Health Providers such as Social Workers, Psychologists, Case Manager and Psychiatrists would be integral in patient care.

This is a Monday- Friday 9am – 5:30 pm full time day shift position.

Preferred Criteria:
• Pediatric/Behavioral Health NP with 2-3 years experience in the outpatient setting
• Previous work experience providing psychopharmacology and combined psychotherapeutic treatment
• Behavioral Health experience with a focus on children and adolescents
• Work with patients with comorbid psychiatric and substance use issues
• Strong psychiatric diagnostic skills
• Bilingual- English/Spanish

Required Criteria:
• Master’s Degree in Advanced Practice
• Board Certification Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner
• Current NYS RN & NP licensure
• Minimum of two years PMHNP experience
• Current BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

$154,468-$165,793/Annual
