Job Description
Embark on a rewarding career as a Medical Receptionist / Customer Service Representative with our client, a thriving home care franchise. In this dynamic role, you’ll be the first point of contact for elderly clients and their families, providing compassionate assistance and coordinating essential care services. Your excellent communication skills and ability to multitask will be instrumental in ensuring clients receive the support they need to maintain their independence at home. You’ll handle a variety of tasks, from managing incoming calls and scheduling consultations to assisting with administrative duties, all while working in a flexible, remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls with warmth and professionalism, addressing inquiries about our comprehensive home care services
- Follow provided scripts to gather essential information from potential clients, ensuring a smooth and empathetic intake process
- Coordinate and schedule in-person consultations, matching clients with the most suitable care options
- Manage and update client and caregiver schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and client satisfaction
- Perform crucial administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, and basic invoicing
- Assist in tracking caregiver hours and managing billing inquiries with attention to detail
- Handle email communications promptly and professionally, addressing client queries and concerns
- Contribute to the improvement of customer service processes as the business grows
- Adapt to an increasing workload and potentially expanded service offerings, growing with the company
Requirements
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills, with a compassionate approach to elderly clients and their families
- Basic knowledge of medical terms and a willingness to learn quickly about home care services
- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software for scheduling, data entry, and communication
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Meticulous attention to detail, especially in data entry and record-keeping tasks
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to meet client needs
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of elderly individuals
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong team communication
- Adaptability to handle a growing workload as the business expands its services and client base
