Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vice President or Director to join our Corporate Banking team, specializing in the Power, Utilities, and Infrastructure (PU&I) sectors in the U.S. This role will focus on client coverage, structuring and executing bank debt transactions, and managing a portfolio of clients in the PU&I industry group.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Vice President or Director, you will:
Transaction Structuring and Execution:
- Lead or support the structuring and execution of bank debt transactions, including acquisition loans, bridge loans, corporate revolvers, and project/asset financings.
Client Relationship Management:
- Drive relationship coverage across the U.S. PU&I sectors for Corporate Banking.
- Identify and cross-sell non-investment banking products to clients.
- Collaborate with Investment Banking to uncover and capitalize on cross-sell opportunities.
Credit Underwriting and Approval:
- Lead the credit underwriting process, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Prepare and oversee the development of credit submission materials and other documentation required for transaction approval and closing.
- Negotiate legal documents associated with transaction execution.
Portfolio Management:
- Proactively manage the client portfolio, providing timely updates on client and industry performance.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Mentor and train junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
Qualifications and Experience:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- An advanced degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field; CFA or other relevant professional designations are a plus.
- At least 10 years of experience in corporate finance and/or corporate banking, with a focus on corporate lending.
- Relevant experience in the PU&I industry.
- Expertise in project and infrastructure finance (preferred).
- Strong financial modeling skills, along with exceptional writing and presentation abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels both internally and externally.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment.
- A passion for developing and mentoring junior team members.

Compensation Details:
The expected salary range for this position is $225,000 - $300,000, based on factors such as experience, skills, registration status, market conditions, and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, such as:
- A discretionary bonus.
- Benefits, including a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions, health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, and a paid time-off plan.
