Responsibilities:

· Plan and prepare meals according to residents' dietary needs and preferences.

· Utilize various cooking methods such as grilling, baking, and boiling to create appetizing dishes.

· Organize workstations with necessary ingredients and cooking equipment.

· Prepare ingredients by chopping, peeling, and cutting as needed.

· Ensure food presentation meets high standards before serving.

· Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen.

· Collaborate with the dietary team to develop menus that meet nutritional requirements.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.

Requirements

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a cook in a professional setting, preferably in a demanding kitchen environment.

· Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent communication skills to interact with residents and team members effectively.

· Passion for cooking delicious and healthy meals for seniors.

Preferred:

• One year cooking experience in hospitality setting or related environment
