Social Worker ED 12 hr 7pm-8:15am Queens Nights

New York-Presbyterian Queens, located in Flushing, New York, is a community teaching hospital affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine, serving Queens and metro New York residents.

We are seeking a Social Worker for our Emergency Department, night shift 7PM-8:15AM. Experience a place where Social Worker are respected. Utilize your inpatient experience to provide a variety of psychosocial services, coordinate discharge planning and continuum of care for patients and families from across the world. Assist them in enhancing their capabilities of coping with illness and daily functioning. Here, you will experience all the reasons why you entered such a rewarding field.

This is a night shift 12.5/hrs 7pm-8:15am 13 shifts/ months with one weekend every 3 weeks and occasional holidays.

Preferred Criteria

• At least one year of inpatient Medical/Surgical experience 

• Discharge Planning experience

• LCSW

Required Criteria

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)

• New York State License as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)

Salary Range:

$82,500-$105,081/Annual
