Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, Inc. (MHIA) is looking for an experienced Global HRIS Senior Manager. This is a hybrid role based out of our Houston Office.
SCOPE:
As a Global HRIS Senior Manager, you will be part of a dynamic Global HRIS team that helps our clients leverage HR technologies and empowers Human Resource Professionals.
The ideal candidate will understand industry best HR practices, leverage relevant metrics and possess an appetite for innovation. This HRIS professional must have the ability to identify the correct digital approaches that will help accelerate and transform our HRIS service offerings to meet current customers’ challenges and in the future.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a liaison and integrator between the client business needs and HR technology solutions
- Guide and influence in change management to drive adoption, analyze change resistors, and adapt change methodology for continual improvement
- Explore innovative solutions (e.g., Robotics and Intelligent Automation, Human Capital Analytics, Unified Engagement Platforms) to bring the full suite of Digital HR Technology capabilities to our clients
- Work in partnership with key stake holders to review project intake forms, SOWs, and change management strategies
- Lead client interactions in Design Thinking workshops and help them transform their ways of working by focusing on leveraging system solutions and improve organizational capabilities.
- Lead all aspects of the project, including monitoring and identifying any project issues to mitigate risk while ensuing exemplary delivery of work
- Create and manage end-to-end transformation project plans considering resource availability
- Drive successful adoption of methodologies such as Lean/Agile to improve quality and accelerate solution delivery. Identify dependencies and develop recommendations on how best to sequence the work.
- Develop and enforce protocols and consistent documentation for implementations and initiatives
- Proactively communicate and challenge processes and technologies to enable business partner strategies, remove barriers, and promote faster solution delivery
- Manage career development to further team effectiveness and succession planning
- Oversee the work of HRIS team members to ensure services offered are effectively meeting and anticipating the needs of business partners
- Manage HRIS team to achieve target scope, schedule, and cost
- Responsible for coaching and mentoring growing group of HRIS team members on project management best practices
- Maintain a strategic relationship with companies HR stakeholders, internal IT partners, and vendors, aligning the digital strategy with the overall business strategy.
- Identify and initiate high value opportunities by understanding industry trends, gaining competitive intelligence and driving industry best practices
- Manage and effectively leverage external partnerships and cross-industry relationships/networks
- Analyze new Digital HR technology trends and their impact on way our clients deliver HR services

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in IT Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- At least 10 years of progressive HRIS experience in a consulting capacity and at least 5 years of management experience.
- Experience in project planning, budget oversight and staffing of project teams including time management and quality assurance for large complex clients/project
- Demonstrated experience in the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be business process designs, functional configuration, testing, client user training
- Experience in helping drive RFPs, RFIs, scoring and evaluating HR products and services
- Experience in HR technology road mapping, business cases, vendor selections, and HR Technology architecture
- Ability to travel up to 15% to client’s sites based on project needs.
- Excellent communication skills suited to the audience; the ability to convey ideas in written form and the capability to share those ideas verbally in a clear, concise manner. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
