Now, we're looking for a Silage and Forage Market Specialist to help us expand our reach and impact in the forage space.
What You’ll Do:
- As a key member of our team, you’ll drive growth and support for Seedway’s forage seed and specialty forage products. You'll collaborate with sales teams, nutritionists, growers, and industry partners to showcase the value and performance of our offerings.
- Your core responsibilities will include:
- Promoting Product Success: Help Seedway sales reps, dealers, and growers understand and maximize the value of our forage lineup.
- Storytelling Through Data: Leverage both tech tools and face-to-face communication to share product performance insights and results.
- Field Leadership: Set up strategic test plots and strip trials; collect silage and grain samples and analyze results.
- Industry Engagement: Represent Seedway in meetings, on farm visits, and in conversations with crop consultants, dairy nutritionists, and academic partners.
- Market Development: Build strong, lasting relationships with industry stakeholders to keep Seedway at the forefront of forage innovation.
- Marketing Partnership: Work closely with our marketing team to help translate technical info into compelling customer messaging.
- Customer Support: Occasionally step in to help resolve grower concerns and ensure positive experiences with our products.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A bachelor’s degree in agronomy, livestock nutrition, or a related agricultural field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 4+ years of experience in agriculture, with a strong track record of collaboration and results.
- A passion for helping growers succeed and a deep understanding of the silage and forage industry.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills—you’re equally confident in the field and in meetings.
- A tech-savvy mindset, with the ability to blend traditional methods with modern tools.
- Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach to challenges.
