We seek a highly skilled Principal Talent Engagement Partner to join our Talent Acquisition, Engagement, and Belonging organization at Zillow. In this role, you will be a pivotal partner in bringing cross-functional teams together through collaborative strategy. You will play a key role in aligning talent acquisition, talent management, and HRBP functions for the success of engagement and belonging efforts at Zillow.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Talent Acquisition, Engagement, Belonging, Talent Management, and HRBPs, to develop comprehensive talent strategies aligned with Zillow's goals and objectives.

  • Partner with senior leaders and executives to understand their talent needs (recruiting, retention, and promotion) and translate them into actionable strategies that support their business goals from recruiting to promotion, using diversity, equity, and belonging as drivers to develop strategies that support those goals.

  • Share those strategies with cross-functional teams and support the development of programs and initiatives from Talent Management and Talent Acquisition.

  • Be a supporter and advocate for the work of these teams.

  • Collaborate with Talent Management to craft and implement learning and development programs that improve the capabilities and growth of all employees.

  • Support Talent Management in identifying high-potential employees in our ERGs and crafting career development plans and programs to nurture their growth within Zillow.

  • Build proven relationships with internal collaborators to influence and drive talent initiatives and programs.

  • Stay updated on industry-standard methodologies and trends in talent strategy, DEI, and employee engagement, and apply them to Zillow's talent initiatives.

  • Audit and analyze talent metrics and data to assess the efficiency of talent strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement in partnership with People Analytics.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $130,900.00 - $209,100.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Experience in a Talent Strategy, Employee engagement, DEI, HR, or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Proven understanding of talent acquisition, talent management, talent development, and HR business partnerships.

  • Demonstrable track record of crafting and implementing successful talent strategies that support strategic objectives.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and establish relationships with partners at all levels.

  • A strategic approach with the ability to think critically and tackle sophisticated problems.
