About the team:

FIS® Investment Accounting Manager (formerly InvestOne) provides scalable and modular investment accounting software that supports an exhaustive range of investment types, asset classes and accounting methodologies.

About the role:

Primary function of the Investment/Accounting Software  Business Analyst will be to work with the InvestOne Support Team analyzing client queries and preparing responses for development to act upon.

Part of the InvestOne Product team they may be called upon to assist and research specific product type queries.

What you will be doing:

• Work with Users/Clients, Software maintenance teams, as well as, BA's and Software Engineers.

• Manage and maintain InvestOne Accounting Software design strategy and explore solution from concept to completion

• Translate complex design problem, user pain points and research finding into practical and impactful design solution especially in financial domain

• Quickly convert concepts and ideas to working POCs using design thinking process

• Proactively engage with multiple project stakeholders and work closely with product and business teams in developing solutions

• Quickly visualize and prototype ideas to communicate concepts, conveying design ideas via sketches, wireframes, hi-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes to the customer

• Rapidly test and create iterative designs that meet project objectives and fits within the FIS Brand guidelines

• Wearing a customer hat during developing solutions

• Be responsible for the delivery of usable and high-quality designs

• Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements

• Design Quality reviews

• Contribute to the CoE charter including collaboration, workshops and publishing

What you will need:

We need organized, highly technically skilled, motivated self-starters, with deep experience of the modern stack and a track record of delivery.  

Core skills are:

• Experience in Accounting software UI & UX Designs with a proven track record of success

• Ability to clearly articulate a problem space and design a solution that meet the user needs and business goals

• Ability to quickly incorporate feedback and efficiently produce high quality professional designs

• Ability to think holistically about the UI and scale in the future

• Self-starter and ability to work without much supervision

• Ability to accurately set, manage and meet deadlines

• Understanding of the following:

• Expert technical role. Expert knowledge of the field. Develops large and/or highly complex solutions that require analysis and research. Works on multiple projects as a project leader or technical leader/consultant. Works on complex tasks, projects or issues that involve a high degree of risk, impacts business unit performance and makes use of the individuals’ high level of knowledge within one or more areas of business systems analysis. Coaches and mentors junior business systems analysts. Works without supervision on the most complex projects. Complete latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires twelve or more years of demonstrated business systems analysis experience with many projects as the business systems analysis lead on “very large” projects, i.e., projects with duration of more than 10,000 hours or spanning more than 6 months.

  Elicit, analyze, communicate and validate business/user requirements for processes, policies and information systems. Translate business needs/end-user requirements into functional specifications that describe what the system, process or product/service must do to fulfill the end-user/business requirements.

• Familiar with responsive design, A11Y principals and usability testing
