The Community Living Department is currently accepting applications for the following positions:
- Instructor: Full time, Part-time and On-Call in San Francisco and East Bay areas
Primary Role: To provide attendant care, in-home support, instruction and training to clients in all areas of daily living, including, but not limited to: meal preparation, shopping, hygiene, personal care, budgeting, medical appointments, travel, community access, safety awareness, and maintaining a clean and healthy living environment
Work Schedule: We have a wide variety of on-call, part- and full-time schedules including day, evening, overnight (sleeping shifts) and weekend shifts in San Francisco, San Mateo, and Alameda County areas. Schedules can be tailored to meet individual employee needs.
Compensation: $20/hour for all East Bay areas. $20.50/hour for San Francisco locations
- Case Lead-Independent Living Skills (ILS) and Supported Living Skills (SLS) in the San Francisco Bay Area (San Francisco, Alameda, and San Mateo counties)
Primary Role: To provide in-home support, case management, instruction and training to clients in all areas of daily living, including, but not limited to meal preparation, shopping, hygiene, personal care, budgeting, medical appointments, travel, community access, safety awareness, and maintaining a clean and healthy living environment
Work Schedule: Case Leads work directly with an assigned case load of individuals receiving Independent Living (ILS) or Supported Living Services (SLS) to provide daily support and case management functions. Typical Case Lead schedules are Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday. Daily schedule is dependent on case load. Schedules can be tailored to meet individual employee needs and interests.
Compensation: $21.50/hour
- Case Lead Floater-Weekends, On-Call Support
Primary Role: Case Lead Floaters are responsible for assisting the Community Living management team in providing the day-to-day support of our clients receiving Supported Living Services. A Case Lead Floater's role is to ensure client shifts are filled and Community Living support staff are trained in their duties.
Work Schedule: Case Lead Floaters will be on-call Friday at 3pm to Monday at 9am. During this time, the Case Lead Floater will be responsible for monitoring calls coming into the 24/7 Emergency Response System (ERS) via an iPhone. The nature of calls varies from non-life-threatening issues/concerns, staffing questions, injury reports and staff call-outs or late arrivals.
- There is potential for the Case Lead to be assigned a guaranteed amount of shift work hours during the week for those who desire to be in a benefitted status
- The Case Lead Floater will provide coverage for any open shifts and for staff absences/vacations. The shifts worked would vary according to the support needs of our clients: mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights may be included.
- Volume of calls varies weekend to weekend. The Case Lead Floater will be made aware on Friday before 3pm if there are known open shifts that need coverage provided by the Floater.
- Case Lead Floater rotation schedule may change as program needs change.
Compensation: A stipend of $400 is paid to Case Lead Floaters able to monitor and respond to calls during the full rotation: Fridays at 3pm to Monday at 9am. For Case Lead Floaters unable to make a commitment to the full rotation, a stipend of $75 shall be paid for daily rotation. Case Lead Floaters will be paid at their hourly rate, $21.50-$24/hr, for all shifts they personally cover during the rotation (sleeping overnight shifts are paid at the prevailing local minimum wage)
