Job Overview

The Patient Payment Specialist I position is responsible for processing and analyzing AltaMed Health Services and related organizations’ Cash Handling Reconciliation Deposit, and handling cash according to the Cash Handling Responsibility Agreement. The position works with Corporate to automate vendors through electronic fund transfers (EFT) and assists in month-end accruals for month-end reconciliation.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college-level work in Finance/Accounting preferred.  

• Minimum of 2 years of work experience required in a clerical environment, emphasizing Accounting/Finance.

• Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred.

Compensation

$25.00 - $25.00 hourly
