  • Align the framework with organizational business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR) strategies.

  • Continuously update the framework to address emerging threats, technology advancements, and lessons learned from incidents or exercises.

Disaster Recovery (DR) Test Coordination:

  • Develop and oversee a Disaster Recovery Testing Program to validate the organization’s ability to recover critical technology systems during disruptions.

  • Coordinate and facilitate DR testing activities, including tabletop exercises, live simulations, and full-scale recovery tests.

  • Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and business continuity teams to define test objectives, scenarios, and success criteria.

  • Ensure that testing schedules, plans, and results are communicated and aligned with business priorities and regulatory requirements.

  • Document and track issues identified during DR tests and ensure timely remediation or mitigation.

Disaster Recovery Test Environment Build-Out Facilitation:

  • Lead and oversee the planning and build-out of DR test environments, ensuring they accurately replicate production systems.

  • Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to provision resources (e.g., storage, compute, networking) required for DR testing.

  • Ensure DR test environments are designed to support a wide range of scenarios, including cyberattacks, system failures, and data corruption.

  • Advocate for investments in tools and technologies necessary to enhance DR testing capabilities.

Leadership Responsibilities:
