Greendale is one of Catalent’s gummy technology development and manufacturing facilities in North America. The site manufactures organic and vegan-based nutraceuticals via confection to enhance wellness for all consumers.  Simply put – we make healthy gummies. Within the Catalent network, we offer a broad range of integrated formulation and analytical services to solve difficult development and manufacturing challenges.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for coordinating/leading inventory allocation from outside warehouses, routine cycle counts of inventory, running discrepancy reports, investigating variances, problem solving as necessary, reporting findings and recommending solutions to management. The Warehouse Manager comply with SQF, Food Safety Plan (HACCP), Food Quality Plan (FQP) standards.

The Role

• Hire, train, and evaluate employees to work productively with a high sense of professionalism, urgency, and orientation towards positive customer service.

• Monitor employee attendance, productivity, providing counseling to employees as needed;

• Coordinate inventory transfer from multiple warehouses to support production at both production facilities.

• Develop accurate, consistent, and enhancements to the inventory reporting structure

• Run a series of inventory reports on daily, weekly, or monthly basis

• Establish a solid system of cycle counting

• Prepare and conduct inventory cycle counts and report findings

• Other duties assigned

The Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or minimum ten (10) years experience in warehousing/logistics functions in a manufacturing environment;

• Five (5) years supervisory experience;

• Thorough understanding of receiving, inventory and material handling procedures

• Working knowledge of warehousing and inventory control processes

• Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent-sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
