Yard Jockey / Non-CDL Driver - 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00AM-2:30PM
 

Non-CDL Driver/Yard Jockey Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License
• Prior commercial truck driving/yard driving experience is strongly preferred
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to lift items that weigh up to of 50lbs

Non-CDL Driver/Yard Jockey Responsibilities:

• Correctly move trailers in and out of dock
• Responsible for drop and hook
• Accurately perform yard audits/yard checks at end of shift
• Proper pre- and post-trip inspections and submitting reports indicating truck conditions
• Make delivers in box truck to customers (Occasionally, as needed)
• Adhere to guidelines of safety-sensitive functions pertaining to job responsibilities within yard
• Possess a team-player attitude
• Ability to read, understand, and demonstrate safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to request and complete trailer moves in the Yard Management System (YMS)
• Attention to detail
• Understanding and communicating in the English language is a requirement
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Pay Range:

$19.15 - $28.72

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
