Accolade's 2nd MD (Expert Medical Opinion) is currently recruiting for a Full Time Senior Manager for our Clinical Intelligence Analyst (CIA) area.

We're seeking applicants who are close to either of our offices (Houston, TX; Seattle, WA; San Francisco, CA, EL Paso, TX, and Plymouth Meeting, PA) who will be required to work at 2 days a week in the office. We're also open to Remote applicants as well.

The Sr Manager, CIA reporting to the Vice President of Clinical Intelligence Analytics, carries significant responsibilities aimed at driving sales and customer support data analytics, business analytics, financial impact modeling, and ROI analytics.

The Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in spearheading analytics efforts for the expert medical opinion segment of our organization, as well as overseeing enterprise-wide solutions and initiatives. Acting as a liaison between the CIA department and our sales and customer support organization, this role will involve conducting in-depth evaluations, generating reports, and devising data analytic strategies for key products and services offered by our enterprise.

Collaboration will be key, as the Senior Manager will work closely with various teams including sales, customer success, clinical operations, business operations, product development, technology, actuarial, and implementation development. It will be imperative to ensure the development and implementation of actuarially sound models and methodologies to support the ROI evaluation of our programs, including cost-saving justifications and risk-sharing arrangements.

A day in the life…

  • Spearhead the execution of our vision, strategy, and roadmap for multiple customer support initiatives, both for new and existing customers, while actively participating in customer-facing meetings.

  • You are expected to build financial and actuarial models to support our business and services’ competitiveness in the market. Build visually appealing and convincing presentations to tell a story, that helps to convey the value we bring to our customers and answer complex questions the customer brings to the table.

  • Continuously enhance and ensure that our cost-saving methodology adheres to industry-leading standards, effectively catering to the needs of health plan customers and consultants.

  • Take charge of actuarial modeling and clinical analytic projects focused on customer-facing reporting and dashboard development, particularly in integrating second opinion offerings into broader initiatives, estimating cost savings, and assessing outcomes impact of partner solutions.

  • Generate analytics and reports to facilitate various strategic endeavors such as the launch of new clinical programs, establishment of new clinical partnerships, and the expansion of our clinical value proposition to existing customers.

  • Foster collaboration with clinical operations, clinical strategy, technology, actuarial teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that high-value projects are aligned with business objectives pertaining to clinical effectiveness, revenue growth, quality improvement, and operational efficiency.

  • Lead the development of business cases for new customers, encompassing cost savings and healthcare outcomes. Conduct post-customer acquisition closed-loop reporting to demonstrate the impact of Accolade’s services on their members, while identifying areas for improvement through back-end analysis to further enhance our offerings in alignment with customer expectations.

  • Proactively identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover gaps and opportunities, presenting recommendations that will inform and shape the business’s strategic road
