As a key member of the Central Region Corporate team, the Corporate Travel Advisor will be responsible for the successful completion of comprehensive, accurate, cost effective travel arrangements for Direct Travel clients within company policies utilizing corporate contracts and preferred suppliers in an efficient and professional manner.  

This role will work closely with the Operations Team of the Cleveland West Office.  

This is a fully remote position. 

 

 

Expedition Expectations 

  • Complete domestic and international travel arrangements for clients which may include air, hotel, ground transportation, rail and limos 
  • Support multiple accounts 
  • Operate within detailed procedures 
  • Interact with traveler or travel arranger and provide first level of support for customer service  
  • Ensure compliance of a client’s travel policy while utilizing DT preferred vendors to maximize profit 
  • Adhere to DT standards in delivering customer service including telephone and email etiquette, and follow prescribed customer service escalation procedure
  • Follow company standards regarding procedures, utilization of tools, productivity, accuracy of work, and attendance 
  • Attend staff and training meetings which may require you to work in the office if home based 
  • Use of sources such as State Department websites, news agencies to stay informed of current industry updates and trends
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative working environment

Passport to Success  

  • Minimum five years corporate domestic/international experience 
  • Minimum five years Saber and/or Apollo Smartpoint experience
  • Minimum two or more years of multi-account handling within past five years 
  • Proficient in issuing tickets and exchanges   
  • Ability to meet and exceed required performance standards 
  • Excellent customer service skills  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Minimum knowledge of Outlook skills and basic Microsoft platforms 
  • Ability to be flexible and multi-task 
  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
