Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company’s Finance and Enterprise Services Human Resources (HR) organization is currently seeking an Experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team in Mesa, AZ!  This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on HR excellence.

The HRBP will be a trusted partner collaborating with management and fellow HR teammates to provide day to day HRBP consultation critical to driving business values and creating a best-in-class employee experience. The selected candidate will possess resiliency and adaptability to adjust to change and have a working knowledge of HR policies, practices, and processes.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Provide effective partnership and training on the full life cycle of HR processes

  • Have familiarity and/or desire to learn how to support hourly populations (both union and non-union)

  • Exhibit business acumen and an overall curiosity of the business

  • Demonstrate urgency to solve problems and apply lean practices on daily work

  • Leverage analytics to advise leadership and monitor organizational trends

  • Utilize a high degree of Emotional Intelligence

Position Responsibilities:

  • Builds and sustains healthy relationships with all levels of leadership with a keen focus on first level leaders to provide effective counsel and support on: coaching, onboarding, employee retention, employee relations matters, and employee engagement

  • Collaborates with HR colleagues including our Communities of Excellence (CoEs) on the design, development, and deployment of HR processes

  • Provides analysis and recommendations to management that are focused on organizational objectives

  • Works with leaders to implement HR actions inclusive of: performance management; compensation; organization design; talent planning; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI); and change management

  • Seeks counsel with Legal, Corporate Investigations, and/or Labor Relations

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes

  • 3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding

  • 3+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions

  • 3+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Human Resources certification

  • 3+ years of experience in an Human Resource Generalist (HRG) or HRBP capacity

  • 3+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives

  • 3+ years of experience directly managing and resolving employee relations issues

  • Experience supporting hourly populations (both union and non-union)

  • Demonstrated experience using analytics and data to drive leaders to decisions

  • Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries to deliver an integrated final product

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, high-impact communication style

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
