Do you want to </span><span>impact</span><span> the future of one of the most successful telecom operators? </span><span>Are you motivated by </span><span>defining and guiding change of telecom networks </span><span>for a sustainable future</span><span>? </span></span><span><span>Telenor is now seeking </span><span>an experienced Senior</span><span> </span><span>Expert </span><span>Network </span><span>to join our</span><span> Shared Technology Competency </span><span>Center</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></p><p></p><p><span><span>In this </span><span>position </span><span>you will </span><span>play a pivotal</span><span> </span><span>role in designing, implementing</span><span>,</span><span> and optimizing our network infrastructure, with a focus on next generation technologies </span><span>including</span><span> </span><span>5.xG</span><span>, </span><span>Cloud RAN / </span><span>Open RAN and </span><span>Op</span><span>en Network </span><span>architecture</span><span>.</span><span> </span><span>Y</span><span>ou will have an advisory role, providing strategic guidance and technical </span><span>expertise</span><span> to various </span><span>Business Areas</span><span> within Telenor.</span><span> </span></span><span> </span></p><p></p><p><span><span>You will work closely with cross-functional teams </span><span>on the transition to cloud-based architectures for both </span><span>C</span><span>ore</span><span> and RAN</span><span> and the implementation of AI capabilities into our networks, </span><span>ensuring the efficiency, </span><span>scalability</span><span> and performance our of network, </span><span>and </span><span>contributing to the success of our </span><span>Telecom</span><span> operations.</span><span> </span><span>This requires collaboration with different Telenor </span><span>Business Areas</span><span> as well as partners and industry arenas</span><span>, such as GMSA and TM Forum. </span></span><span> </span></p><p></p><p><b><span>Some of the main responsibilities:</span></b><span> </span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Implementation of </span><span>strategic directions and architecture principles covering overall network domains applicable for Telenor </span><span>Business Areas (</span><span>Telenor Asia, Telenor Procurement Company, Telenor Nordics, Telenor Amp, Telenor </span><span>Infra</span><span>).</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Collaborate with </span><span>Telenor </span><span>Business Areas</span><span> and external vendors to architect scalable and resilient network architectures that meet current and future business requirements.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Provide strategic </span><span>execution support </span><span>and advisory services to various </span><span>Business Areas</span><span> within Telenor on network technology trends, best practices, and industry standards.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Conduct</span><span> regular assessments and evaluations of network performance, </span><span>identifying</span><span> areas for improvement and implementing </span><span>optimi</span><span>s</span><span>ation</span><span> strategies.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in </span><span>telecom</span><span> networking, and provide recommendations for their integration into our network infrastructure.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Requirements:</span></b><span> </span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Bachelor's or </span><span>master's</span><span> degree in engineering</span><span>, </span><span>t</span><span>elecommunications</span><span>, or a related field.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Minimum </span><span>seven</span><span> years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing</span><span>.</span><span> </span><span>telecommunication</span><span> networks, with a focus on wireless technologies.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>In-depth knowledge of </span><span>Cloud RAN / </span><span>Open RAN architectures, protocols, and standards.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Hands-on experience with network virtualization technologies, software-defined networking (SDN), and network function virtualization (NFV).</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Proficiency</span><span> in network performance analysis and optimization tools.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Strong
