Director-Admissions

Essential Job Functions:

• Supports team in facilitating incoming inquiries of prospective clients, loved ones and mental health/medical professionals with a sense of urgency and compassion.
• Exhibits a high level of professionalism and excellent customer service skills with each call, tour and admission.
• Utilizes an Intervention style approach (when applicable) to assist callers in working through ambivalence.
• Demonstrates exceptional follow-up skills with families and treating health/medical professionals.
• Prepares and facilitates all aspects of the admissions process, including but not limited to all intake paperwork. 
• Maintains Salesforce database by entering incoming and outgoing calls.
•  Makes outbound phone calls to referents, as assigned.
• Train admission coordinators are needed. 
• Identifies areas of need for further training and coordinates with team
• Approves monthly schedule to ensure proper coverage.
• Collaborates with other departments as needed.
• Attend on and offsite professional outreach events.
• Is available to support admission coordinators with problem solving tasks via phone and/or email when not in office.
• Ability to be creative in problem-solving to help improve census.

 

Job Requirements:

• RN or MA in psychology, counseling, social work or related field required.
• Licensed LPC or LSW
• 3-5 years admission coordinator experience preferred.
• Behavioral health care experience required.
