Safety Analysis Engineer - Physics or Nuclear (Hybrid)

About the role:

As a Safety Analysis Engineer, our main responsibility will be to perform calculations and conduct safety analyses of our BWR reactors.

You will report to the Manager for BWR Safety & Analysis for Plant Design and Engineering. You will be hybrid based in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. No relocation provided. We can consider candidates able to work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Perform calculations and analyze the response in a nuclear reactor based on different cases and scenarios

• Conduct safety analysis based on recurring scenarios, and new legal requirements or incident reports

• Write and review reports based on your findings

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of applicable experience

• A Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Physics or Nuclear preferred) that provides a technical and theoretical foundation.

• Programming skills like Python 

• Enjoy solving theoretical problems
