Role Summary:
In this role you will help to accelerate Kepler’s growing Amazon unit as a business development leader. We are full steam ahead with our Amazon program, and ready for an entrepreneurial-minded sales lead.
Your day-to-day may include networking, pitching, revenue forecasting, strategic planning. Some travel is expected, primarily to key Amazon locations including: LA, Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, London. We are open to remote candidates, with a preference for candidates located in one of the above cities, Philadelphia, or San Francisco.
Success in this role within 6 months looks like establishing/building on trusted Amazon relationships and creating a sales foundation for continued growth, success in 12 months looks like an increased client portfolio with diversified and high spending advertisers.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at Amazon
- Identify acquisition target lists, lead outbound outreach for strategic opportunities
- Support ongoing development of go-to-market strategy
- Refine business development material, collaborate with Marketing department to support event planning/hosting and content development
- Support business development pitches designed to explain Kepler’s offering as well as provide a brief introduction to Amazon Ads and Amazon Marketing Cloud
- Manage inbound and outbound sales cycle from pitch through signing

Experience:
- 5+ years in sales, 1+ years at Amazon preferred
- Experience in ad tech, advertising and/or marketing vertical
- Working knowledge of inbound and outbound sales best practices
- Existing network within ad tech and marketing

We aim to offer competitive direct compensation and a rich indirect compensation program that demonstrates the value we place on our employees and their wellbeing.
Total Compensation:
- Base Salary: $105,100 - $131,400
- Target Annualized Discretionary Bonus: 10% ($10,500 - $13,100)
- Target Total Cash: $115,600 - $144,500
