Job Description
PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of 12-15 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
As an Assistant Manager, Features Production Management - you will report into the Manager, Features Production Management and support the entire Features Production Management team, as well as the overall Olympic Operations team.
Responsibilities
- Support Features Production Management team on Olympics, Golf and Sports features, documentaries and sales projects (will likely focus on one property primarily, but will assist in similar roles across all three departments):
- Assist with forecasting, budgets, and planning for profiles, features, documentary, and specialty projects.
- Update budgets as production progresses to track overall spending categories, including domestic/international profiles, documentaries/long form features, etc.
- Reconcile administrative paperwork, correspondence, notes/final reports from all projects in various internal systems
- Book logistics (schedule travel, hotel, rentals, crew/equipment needs), research and prepare estimates prior to each project and track costs throughout production.
- Request Certificate of Insurance and Property Insurance for various vendors, vendor credit card authorizations, visa applications and carnets for international shoots, secure mandatory traveler information
- Work alongside the Features Production Management team and Stamford Operations team in long term planning and execution of the Olympic Games:
- Data entry/data population/data cross referencing in a specific database
- Aerial schedule creation, aerial schedule population in a specific database
- Coordinate logistical elements with various internal departments and outside vendors
- Games Time role in Stamford anticipated
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum three (3) years' Production Coordination/Management experience in television, live or corporate events
- Proven ability to assess priorities, adapt to face-paced environments and take direction from multiple people
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office environment, smart sheet, desktop publishing and ability to master in-house database systems (strong administrative skills are key)

- Ability to effectively and quickly problem solve and handle demanding and time sensitive situations
- Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to build relationships across diverse departments
- CRM experience

- Position is based in Stamford, Connecticut (minimum 3 days per week in the office prior the lead up of the Olympics, with more in office days anticipated during the Olympics).
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
