Job Description:
The Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects within the Cold Chain business. The Project Manager leads the project with cross-functional teams, including Field Service Managers, subcontractors, and account teams, ensuring projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. This role also prioritizes customer satisfaction and proactively resolves challenges while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
As A Project Manager, You Will:
- Lead and manage small to midsize technical projects involving temperature monitoring and HVAC/R controls in supermarkets, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Oversee project documentation, including financial tracking (costs, revenue, margins), material and labor logs, project submittals, and schedule revisions.
- Manage proposals, including cost estimates, scopes of work, and schedules, while maintaining strong relationships with key accounts to understand customer needs.
- Collaborate with Field Service Managers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure project execution aligns with industry standards and optimized resource utilization.
- Provide timely project updates, risk assessments, and financial forecasts to senior leadership and key stakeholders, supporting strategic planning and decision-making.
- Facilitate project scheduling and coordination through weekly status meetings with internal teams and external partners to align priorities and resolve challenges proactively.
- Ensure compliance with PMO governance and best practices while driving continuous improvement initiatives within project management processes.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experiences in lieu of the degree
- 5+ years of experience in project management
- Skilled at building strong relationships with customers, sales teams, and management to effectively manage scope of work and ensure alignment with business needs
- Safety-first individual
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
- CAPM / PMP and/or proven strong experience with project management
- HVAC/R Industry or Product knowledge
