Quality Manager, Proud Source Water, Mackay, Idaho

Proud Source Water is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Operations team role is based in Mackay, Idaho, reporting to the Director of Quality. 

• Manage and supervise the Quality Assurance department functions and its responsibilities as well as direct and evaluate the quality management, food safety, product protection and regulatory compliance programs for all operations in the plant.
• Act as the Facility HACCP coordinator.
• Act as the Facility SQF Practitioner 
• Design, implement and maintain a NSF Supplier Certification for Food Processing Facilities.
• Be responsible for auditing and evaluating effective control programs for all operating processes involving product manufacture, packaging, and storage.
• Develop, implement, and maintain formal audit programs for each manufacturing process that confirms processes, practices, ingredients, packaging, storage and shipping operations meet all standards of quality, safety, wholesomeness, regulatory, and policy requirements.
• Coordinate and assure the timely response or submission of documents relative to labels, non-conformances, and the management of withheld products.
• Responsible for anticipating and solving quality problems through evaluation of ingredients, processes, materials, and finished products.
• Develop, implement, and maintain and/or provide guidance programs for good manufacturing practices, HACCP, plant sanitation, plant maintenance, and pest control programs.
• Responsible for administering, distributing, interpreting, and enforcing compliance with official formulas, procedures, and appropriate policy positions issued by Proud Source Water Inc.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years experience in Food & Beverage industry, preferably bottled water
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience 
• HACCP Certification preferred
• Highly responsible self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of job completion
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Highly developed organization and time-management skills
