Our engineering teams build and maintain high-throughput and low latency abuse detection and preventions systems that process over 1B transaction daily, focusing on building scalable detection and fraud prevention systems

A day in the life
Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, build and bring innovative products and services to market. Architecting globally distributed systems with emphasis on scalability and reliability. This includes experience with cross-regional data consistency, cache invalidation strategies, and distributed transaction management. You should be well-versed in designing fault-tolerant systems that maintain high availability across multiple regions while handling complex state management. Good background in security protocols and identity management systems is essential, as is experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing patterns. Additionally, you should be comfortable with modern DevOps practices and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for large-scale distributed systems.
