Job description

We are hiring a business-minded Senior Procurement Contracts Manager on the Legal team to negotiate a range of agreements varying in complexity. This role calls for deep collaboration and partnership with stakeholders across Legal, Finance, Sales, Product, and other internal stakeholders. You’ll be tasked with delivering quick turnarounds on contracts, finding creative solutions to big and small problems, supporting contract questions, and optimizing processes to support the business. The ideal person for this role will also be very ‘hands-on’ and equally adept at program execution and strategy development.

Responsibilities: 

• Draft, negotiate and manage a broad range of commercial agreements, amendments, NDAs, and other contracts & licenses, varying from very simple to highly custom terms.
• Support contract management, contract approval coordination, database management, and reporting.
• Assist with the development, maintenance, and proofing of standard contract templates, and contract analysis.
• Develop and implement policies, practices, and guidance for contract operations.
• Manage and meet internal SLAs and help juggle priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Participate in special assignments and provide ad hoc support as required. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable supporting senior leadership.
• Collaborate with the team to strategize and improve on contract operations and initiatives, and regularly seek ways to optimize for speed, efficiency, and quality.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams as necessary on solution design and delivery.
• Assist with Contract Lifecycle Management administration (currently using IronClad).  

Requirements: 

• You have 7 - 10+ years of experience in complex contract drafting and negotiation, contract management, and contract operations; or 5 years and a paralegal certification; or a Juris Doctorate with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent experience preferred.
• In-depth experience with Ironclad or similar CLM tool.
• Previous in-house experience preferred.
• You adapt quickly to changing processes and new priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail, ability to adjust on the fly, problem-solving skills, proactivity and a great attitude.
• Highly responsive and proactive.
• A team player mindset (no job is too big or too small).

Compensation varies based on location and work being performed. The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $112,070 – $172,416 for annual base salary. Employees may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses and commissions. The successful candidate’s actual pay will also be based on qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
