Quick Position Facts!

Location: San Diego, CA, Arlington, VA, or Virginia Beach VA at our wonderful G2 Ops office.

Work Setting: In person with some remote teleworking opportunity, but not a fully remote position. This position is periodically required to perform work in an IL6 cloud environment that requires access to one of our SIPR network labs.

Looking to Start: 02/03/2025

Salary Range: $161,000 - $191,000 plus benefits.

  • Required certifications include:
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (AWS CSAP)
    • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (AWS CDEP)
    • AWS Certified Security – Specialty (AWS CSS)
    • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate (AWS CSA)
• 1 Full-Time Role for a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer
  • Required certifications include:
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)

Knowledge Requirements: The applicant must be familiar with security and compliance requirements specific to Department of the Navy (DoN) Cloud environments, and must be knowledgeable of CSP-specific cloud native products and services. The ideal candidate will also have a working knowledge of the DoD RMF accreditation process and its relationship to cloud engineering practices and project execution. Additionally, the ideal applicant will have two of the following certifications:

• Senior AWS Cloud Engineer
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (AWS CSAP)
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (AWS CDEP)
  • AWS Certified Security – Specialty (AWS CSS)
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate (AWS CSA)
• Senior Azure Cloud Engineer
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)

Years of Industry Experience: 5 years +  of relevant Cloud Engineering experience

Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
