Job Summary
The Raytheon Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) organization within the Short and Medium Range Ground Based Air Defense (SMGBAD) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (sSBU) is looking for an Associate Director, OSC in support of the growing the Stinger international footprint. This candidate will be responsible for leading a major capture effort, supporting the SMGBAD leadership team and the Stinger Co-Production Capture executive integrating across a dynamic and complex organization. They will collaborate with personnel assigned to the Stinger program and will be fully accountable for developing and executing supply chain & operations proposal plans and upon award the execution of the program within the portfolio. The position requires the ability to exert influence on overall objectives and long-range goals of the product lines and program office. This position involves direct management of international content, supporting manufacturing activities and will be based out of Tucson, AZ with international travel to Europe a requirement.
What You Will Do:
- Accountable for OSC cost, schedule, and quality
- Managing team integration supporting SMGBAD Stinger portfolio of programs
- Manage, develop and lead OSC proposal activities including task descriptions and BOEs.
- Generate production plans, make/where plans, and write manufacturing sections of technical proposals.
- Interfaces with Customers ensuring satisfactory standards of service.
- Coordinate & develop OSC requirements for all gate reviews & execute proposed strategies.
- Overall ownership of the Supplier Management process
- Implement and drive process improvements that result in a healthy value chain for development and production programs·
- Experience in capital planning (development), MRL (Manufacturing Readiness Level) Assessments
- Strong business acumen with budget and schedule responsibility
- Experience and interest in verbal/visual presentations of OSC activities, plans, tasks, and/or delivery outlooks and program-level information to internal and USG Customers.
- Experience with Technical Data Package (TDP) reviews and approval via common product data management (PDM)
- Experience with transition of programs from design to manufacturing and transition of factory effort to new locations
- Ability to lead collaborative teams on tactical and strategic discussions to drive results and break down barriers.
- Experience developing and executing competitive bids and proposals through collaboration with multiple manufacturing and functional teams.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience

- Experience with Six Sigma/CORE tools and applications.
- Experience leading teams in cost reduction/process improvement initiatives.
