Job Summary:
The Project Manager will work to implement and provide consulting for AssetWorks IWMS (Integrated Workplace Management System) software both remotely and at customer sites across North America and the UK as well as manage scope, budget, and timeline for the implementation projects. Project Manager may work independently and/or with a team of services personnel, which may or may not include the leading role of project or module lead.The Project Manager is responsible for executing key tasks during an AssetWorks software implementation. Tasks may include training, business process analysis, documentation, system testing, data migration, go-live support, or all of the above.
Job Description:
The role of the Project Manager is to execute project tasks in support of AssetWorks software implementation for AiM, ReADY, and GO software products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Successfully implement AssetWorks IWMS software through:
- Detailed capture and analysis of customer requirements and business processes
- Transition of customer business processes to enable maximum ROI
- Precise configuration of the IWMS to align to operating procedures
- Thorough application testing and support
- Development and delivery of customized training for the customer
- Technical consulting on IWMS software – specifically internal and external automations
- Successfully manage projects as a Project Manager by:
- Proactive, clear, and concise communication to internal and external stakeholders on project timelines, status, and issues impacting implementation
- Effectively capture any issues, decisions, actions, and risks prior to launch
- Timely engagement and efficient collaboration with customer care and development teams when issues arise.
- Be a product ambassador and a trusted advisor to the customer.
- Share best practices to drive efficiency and improvements to implementation quality.
- May be required to travel depending on customer need.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills/Abilities
- Bachelor of Arts or Science degree, preferably in Business or Information Systems
- Experience working with business systems in an implementation and support capacity
- Solid project management skills working on challenging technical, custom software implementation projects
- Experience interpreting user needs, writing, or editing functional specifications for new systems, system changes, and/or system enhancements
- Ability to ramp quickly and learn through any means necessary to get up to speed and maintain subject matter expertise on product and service offerings
- Proven ability to deliver against tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated and resourceful with high level of energy and drive
- Prior experience working with facilities management teams within government and higher education organizations is preferred but not required
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Basic Knowledge of Project Management foundations and methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, while delivering clear and timely communications.
