Job Description

• As having the hybrid role including commercial buyer and project buyer, you will represent our commercial interests in the development projects and have the key role in shaping the future purchasing as well as supplier strategy in Home Comfort division.
• In our team you are responsible for the technical purchasing of new parts and components in development projects, control the time-to-market process as well as the introduction of new parts.
• Your tasks also include global coordination and strategy implementation in the assigned material area.
• Furthermore, you are responsible for group-wide cooperation in purchasing within the Bosch Group, to represent the interests of the Home Comfort division as well as for the operational support of the plants worldwide to ensure the ability to deliver.
• You are the interface between the business unit and the supplier and are available for strategic and operational issues.
• The creation and implementation of material field and sourcing strategies as well as the fulfillment of cost targets from commercial and contractual negotiations are also part of your tasks.
• Last but not least, you will work with international suppliers and teams.

Qualifications

• Education: completed university studies in Engineering or a comparable subject
• Experience and Knowledge: good knowledge of MS Office and SAP, several years of professional experience in project purchasing and strategic purchasing along with electronics know-how, good knowledge on supply chain, contract and price negotiation
• Personality and Working Practice: strategic, commercial and entrepreneurial thinker, flexible, cross-functional collaborator, solution-oriented, analytical, ability to identify problems, develop solutions and achieve results as well as willingness to travel internationally
• Enthusiasm: open to learn new things, promote creative solutions
• Languages: business fluent in English, German
