Physical Therapist - PRN

Work Shift:

Day - 8 Hour (United States of America)

Responsible for treating assigned patients including obtaining accurate prescription, reviewing charts adequately, evaluating patients and documenting according to policy.

Education:
Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.

Experience:
Three (3) internships/affiliations satisfactorily completed. Twelve (12) weeks of clinical experience at a university-approved hospital.

Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Current PT licensure by the Georgia State board of Physical Therapy. Current AHA BLS certification.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Utilizes a variety of physical therapy equipment to include ultrasound, electrical stimulation, whirlpool, iontophoresis, TEN's units, paraffin bath, fluidotherapy, Biodex, biofeedback, traction, and exercise equipment.

Successful candidates will be subject to criminal background and drug screens.
