The Role

The Retail Bank Chief of Staff team is accountable for supporting the President of Retail Bank, the Bank HR Lead, and the Retail Bank Leadership Team to design and execute Retail Bank culture, with a focus on workplace solutions and associate experience. 

Working with the Senior Director, Chief of Staff, this role develops and executes Bank-wide strategy for key initiatives including workplace location and office management, AI enablement and upskilling and associate engagement. This person will provide support and program management for various strategic initiatives and have the opportunity to influence the associate experience we deliver across Retail Bank. 

Candidates should be excited about positively impacting the experience of our associates and the opportunity to help our leaders advance our strategy at scale. Work on this team is often a unique blend of execution, problem-solving, program management, change management and strategic communication.   

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with close partners, support the development and implementation of strategies around hybrid experiences, location strategy, and associate upskilling

  • Act as a central point of contact between the Retail Bank leadership team and other key partners

  • Ensure alignment of leaders across the organization

  • Work with the leadership team and communications team to plan and execute key messages and deliverables to internal and external audiences with a high priority on consistent, frequent organizational communications

  • Communicate plans and execution status for divisional strategic programs

  • Coordinate associate engagement related activities including associate and organization-wide recognition, learning & development, and other culture-related initiatives 

Our Ideal Candidate will:

  • Be proficient in the use of LLMs and general AI assistants like Google Gemini, and deeply engaged in staying on top of the evolving technology capabilities

  • Find the right balance of forward thinking and relentless pragmatism 

  • Demonstrate strong influential communications, including across levels, teams and organizations, and have the ability to use data-driven storytelling

  • Take gray space problems and create structured delivery plans with clear outcomes

  • Be an exceptional analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills, sound independent judgment, and meticulous attention to detail 

  • Be highly effective in rapidly changing environments 

  • Have the ability to multitask with simultaneous projects and tasks, while demonstrating urgency, prioritization, and ownership to drive issues to completion

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

  • At least 4 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Project Management, Human Resources, Corporate Communications, or Program Management 

  • At least 3 years of experience managing executive level stakeholders across different business functions

  • At least 3 years of experience working with cross-functional teams

  • At least 3 years of experience partnering with engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2+ years of experience in strategy development

  • 2+ years of experience in talent and culture strategy

  • 2+ years of experience driving organizational change and operational excellence
