Job Purpose
Senior Program Manager is responsible for performing Accounting and Reconciliation. Captures accounting transactions using financial systems. Responsible for identifying and remediating accounting discrepancies to produce accurate and credible financial information. Prepares financial analytics and Flux analysis.
Provides support in preparing program financial reports. Utilizes data to review and provide financial information and ensure credible reporting. Supporting MA AMI Program.
Reports to the Manager and is responsible for preparing reports to support Financial Accounting and reporting requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Support month-end accounting close process to ensure timely, accurate and complete recording of financial transactions
- Responsible for completing month-end accounting activities to ensure timely filing
- Perform monthly account reconciliation and review account activities to ensure proper account reconciliation
- Prepare records and processes accounting transactions and ensures allocation to appropriate accounts for accurate and credible data.
- Coordinate with various departments and to compile and support financial information
- Provide support on Ad Hoc Request from various departments/ functions
Experience Requirements:
• Able to analyze and present program trends in compelling narratives and generate top quality reports for executive audience.
• Drive reporting and/or accountability in a matrixed organization.
• Work across stakeholder groups and vendors in business and IT to drive program performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
- 3+ year's experience in Finance, Accounting and or Financial Reporting with increasing responsibility
- Knowledge of general ledger platforms, SAP and BI Hanna (preferred)
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications
- Experience reviewing and resolving data discrepancies

Salary
$103,000 - $121,000 a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
