Employee Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Inova Occupational Health - Ashburn is looking for a dedicated Employee Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team. This role will be part time day shift on Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 11:30a

Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities:

• Plans, implements and manages programs that support the health, safety and well-being of team members.
• Focuses on the promotion and restoration of health, prevention of illness/injury and protection from occupational and environmental hazards.
• Serves as the health advocate for team members and management. Organizes and prioritizes clinical activities to maximize effective utilization of time and resources to achieve desired outcomes.
• Collaborates with the EOHS Nurse Consultant and Infection Control Practitioner in conducting post-exposure surveillance to ensure early detection and treatment of infections. 
• Educates team members regarding the risk of contracting infectious disease in the work place and the importance of compliance to post exposure processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience: 0 years of registered nurse clinical experience. 
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience as a RN in ambulatory medicine
